Grammy Reminder

The Grammy Awards are Sunday night; it is usually the classiest of the award shows. Looking forward to the All-Star Southern Rock jam with Skynyrd, Allmans, etc. and Janis Joplin tribute from Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone.

Although Kanye West is talented and the songs I've heard are innovative, I hope he doesn't sweep the awards. He showed a tremendous amount of poor sportsmanship when he lost an American Music Award to Gretchen Wilson and he needs a dose of humility, I think. Gretchen didn't have to depend on samples of old Chaka Khan songs to write her songs. (Yes, I am aware that he later apologized to Gretchen). You didn't hear Usher complain when he lost an award to the inexplicably popular Kenny Chesney.
