A recent article in "Entertainment Weekly" says that the success of current releases by System Of A Down and the Mars Volta indicates that the world may be ready for the return of "prog rock."
Prog rock -- Emerson, Lake, and Palmer; Yes; early Genesis; etc.

I like System Of A Down, too; when we were waiting for Seether to take the stage at Riverfest, "BYOB" came on and the place went nuts.
As long as they don't start writing 25 minute multi-part songs about dragons, I'll be fine.
